SSI has recently installed aeration systems in parts of Africa where we had not worked before. We have had fine bubble aeration systems in Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Kenya, and South Africa, and we have recently added installations in Angola and Congo.

J.F. Cavanaugh has awarded The City of Port Huron, Michigan WWTP project to SSI in conjunction with Tetra-Tech Engineers. Originally designed as an EPDM fine bubble disc system, it has been upgraded to include SSI’s patent-pending PTFE coated EPDM membranes, which have shown exceptional life and efficiency over time in other WWTP’s.
Below are photos of a large aeration system installed at a leading American pork processor’s plant in North Carolina. There are more than 6000 pcs of SSI AFD270 fine bubble disc diffuser with patented Quick Connect Saddles. In these photos you can see the piping system dry, covered with clean water, and tested for uniform air distribution.
